Imperial Freezer Services was founded in 1995 to support the North Carolina poultry industry with top-notch warehousing services. The founding investors include Sam Wornom, George Perkins, Chuck McCarthy as Vice President of Operations and Brian Davis as Vice President of Finance. Our strategically located 63,000 sq. ft. freezer was built in 1996, and we accepted our first load of product on November 6 of that year.

In the following year, we responded to growing demand by expanding our facility with an additional 27,000 square feet of convertible storage space, with temperatures ranging from 35°F to -10°F. In 2001, we added another 35,000 square feet of covertible storage. Today, our facility offers 3.5 million cubic feet of public cold storage.
Local ownership with on-site owner/managers is a major strength of our company. We understand the demands of food safety, product quality, and customer service that exist in the cold storage industry.
